How many door intercoms can be registered to a Gigaset base station?

If a Gigaset HC450 door intercom is registered to a Gigaset base station, it becomes allocated an internal number. The process equals the registering process of a handset.

To configure this door intercom you need a Gigaset handset, which is registered to the same base station. You just have to call the internal number of the Gigaset HC450.

The number of concurrent supported devices depends on the base station. Usually the DECT protocol supports 6 DECT devices. A Gigaset HC450 needs - same as a handset - only one registering place / one internal number. It is necessarily possible to register more than one Gigaset HC450 door intercom to the base station.

Example:

At a Gigaset base station which supports 6 DECT devices you are able to register 5 Gigaset HC450 door intercoms, and one handset to configure them.

However only this single handset can signal when one of the door intercom keys was pressed, and only one door bell can ring, due to ther is only one connector.

Perhaps it could be practicable to use the external diversion for each of the door intercoms. Therewith you can call an external number (mobile phone, fix net, VoIP number, internal PABX number or others) with each door intercom.
