Why isn't there any picture in the display during an incoming call?

To see a picture in the display in addition to the number from an internal caller you have to achieve the following settings:

  • At least one picture must be stored in the Media pool from the handset/base (via Gigaset QuickSync)
  • A directory entry must be dedicated to a picture in the directory entry options.
  • The caller must show his number for outgoing calls.
  • The Network provider must support the CLIP function and this function must be activated

.
Important Note:

If a handset with picture-CLIP-function is registered to an older base station it could be possible that there is no picture shown in the display due to incompatibility reasons.

In these cases please have a look at our compatibility database and choose your combination to see if it is possible or not.
