Why is the time incorrectly shown and why does it change automatically?

Our Gigaset systems AL180/185, A

S 280/285, A 580/585, C380/385, SL 780/785 take over the date and time during a CLIP message automatically.

The transmission from the date and time is carried out by e.g Router, Modems, PABX or switchboards, depending on the manufacturer. In some cases it could happen that a wrong date and time was transfered.

 


You can switch off the automatically take over from date and time:

For all bases Gigaset AL180/280/185/285 ; AS 280/285 ; A 380/385 ; A 580/585 ; C 380/385

    * Press menukey
    * Select Settings
    * Select Base
    * Enter 94762001
    * The display shows : "Eeprom"
    * Now enter the following figures
    * Figures for bases
          o  with answering machine: 49325 49372 32796 and press OK
          o  ohne without answering machine: 02130 02075 18651  and press OK
    * After entering OK you will see "Saved" in the display.
    * Unplug and plug the power supply after this procedure.



For all basesGigaset SL780/785

    * Press menukey
    * Enter * # 05 #
    * You will see " System 9" in the display
    * Enter 4762001
    * You will see "Eeprom" in the display
    * Now enter the following figures
    * Figures for bases
          o  witht answering machine: 12708 12303 12556 und OK drücken
          o  without answering machine: 30893 30915 31168  und OK drücken
    * After entering OK you will see "Saved" in the display.
    * Unplug and plug the power supply after this procedure.
