How to name the different parts of the Gigaset SL560 / SL565?
- The base station
The base station is that part of your Gigaset where the telephon cable is plugged in.
At the bottom side of the base station you will find a lable with the description of the base station. Normally that is also the description of the whole Gigaset System. - The handset
The handset is the mobile part of your Gigaset.
In the battery compartment or at the battery cover you will find the description of the handset.
If the Gigaset System has a seperate charging cradle, you will find the description of the handset at the bottom side of it too. - The charging cradle
At some Gigaset models you have a stand-alone base station. In these cases the handset will be delivered with a seperate charging cradle. The cradle belongs to the handset and share its description. For example if you have a Gigaset SL56 the description of the cradle is SL56 charging cradle.
