How strong is the radio transmission exposure?
The wireless sensors are usually in an almost-off mode and only activate the radio channel for a short period of time, for example if data has to be transferred.
Because of the DECT-ULE standard an insignificant amount of emission occurs within these transfer times, which furthermore lies far below the legal limit of 2 W/kg. -
What do I need to install the Gigaset thermostat?
You need a registered Gigaset elements base, your smartphone with the Gigaset elements app and, if necessary, a pipe wrench to replace the heating controller. Depending on the radiator, a screwdriver may also be necessary.

If you can´t remember your password, you can simply reset it. You can use the function FORGOT PASSWORD on the login screen:
In the given field you need to enter the email address that you used to register your Gigaset elements system. Then click on CONTINUE.
You will get an email containing a link. Follow the instructions to reset your password. Please make sure that your new password is strong enough.

Does the thermostat work even if the Internet connection is interrupted?
An Internet connection is required to install and control the thermostat. If there is a short-term Internet failure, the thermostats will continue to function and remain at the temperature set at the time of the failure.

What is Boost mode?
The Boost mode ensures that the room heats up more quickly. The radiator opens fully for 10 minutes when the Boost button is pressed. It can be switched off by pressing the Boost button again. After 10 minutes it regulates back to the previously set temperature or the heating plan temperature.

Is it possible to use Gigaset sensors in humid areas?
window, door, motion and base are not protected against spray water, so we can´t recommend to use them in moist areas. Persistent humidity might also damage the sensors.

How do I know which adapter I need for my radiator?
Identify the type of radiator, look for a symbol or letter on your radiator valve. Note: Not all manual thermostats are from the same manufacturer as the radiator valve. Also measure the thread diameter.

Do I need other systems to install?
An installed Gigaset elements base and an installed Gigaset elements App are required to install the system.

How do I mount the Danfoss adapters on the heating valve?
RA
Spread the RA adapter and click it on; the adapter should snap into the notches behind the bead (important). Mount the locking screw if necessary. Screw on the coupling ring hand-tight (without additional tools). The valve stem must be flush with the white coupling ring.
RAV
Spread the RAV adapter and click it on, if necessary mount the locking screw, push the pin onto the valve stem as far as it will go. The pin must be flush with the white coupling ring. (If the pin is too long, it can be shortened as required.)
RAVL
Spread the RAVL adapter and click it on, hand-tighten the coupling ring (without additional tools). The valve stem must be flush with the white coupling ring. -
What do I have to consider if I want to attach my thermostat to another radiator?
Perform a reset by pressing all 3 buttons on the thermostat simultaneously for 10 seconds. After a successful reset, JIN appears on the display.
