Gigaset AG nominates Susan Klöß and Rudi Lamprecht for Supervisory Board

The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board of Gigaset AG have nominated Susan Klöß, a leading management consulting partner and former Siemens board member, Rudi Lamprecht as future members of the board. As a replacement member Barbara M. Worked, Chief Operating Officer of investment bank Viscardi AG, is proposed. Susanne Klöß is an internationally respected, top manager with excellent knowledge of the capital market. Lamprecht, an eminent expert on the core investment, Gigaset Communications GmbH, offers many years of experience in telecommunications and information technology industry itself. As a member of the Central Board of Siemens AG, he worked on the former Siemens Home and Office Communication Devices GmbH & Co. KG (SHC), from which Gigaset Communications emerged.

"Klöß combines outstanding management consultancy with in-depth capital market knowledge and Lamprecht is absolutely familiar with the peculiarities of the telecommunications industry. Both will sustainably strengthen Gigaset AG. "Lamprecht and Klöß are put forward as candidates at the AGM to replace the current Supervisory Board members Dr. Rudolf butterflies and Prince Hubertus zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, who will no longer stand for election. The other members of the current Supervisory Board, Dr. Dr. Peter Löw, Prof. Dr. Michael Judis, David Hersh and Bernhard Riedel will stand again.

The business graduate, Klöß, is an internationally renowned expert in the financial services industry. For many years she was a managing partner of one of the world's leading consultancies, responsible for the capital market area and significantly advanced the exchange industry’s transformation to international electronic trading. She also accompanied many international banks and companies in the financial sector in their change processes, designed and implemented strategies, helping them to grow. Her customers included, among others, the stock exchanges in China, Malaysia, Europe and USA, top names in European and USA investment banking, as well as renowned financial service companies in emerging markets (Latin America and Russia).

The computer technology graduate, Lamprecht, has held numerous high-level management positions in the information technology industry (ICT) - including Hewlett Packard and Siemens Nixdorf. As Executive Vice President at Siemens AG, he was responsible for Information and Communication Products until 2004 and, as a member of the Central Committee until 2008, headed up the areas SHC, BSH Bosch and Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH (Home Appliances), Fujitsu Siemens Computers Osram and the economic regions Africa, the Middle and Far East and the CIS. Lamprecht is also on the supervisory boards of several IT companies.

The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board of Gigaset AG, also nominate the lawyer, Barbara M. Thätig as a substitute member. Thätig is on the Board of the investment bank, Viscardi AG, as Chief Operating Officer / General Counsel. In more than 10 years at Viscardi AG Thätig has successfully managed numerous national and international public offerings and capital market transactions. Ms. Thätig is a renowned specialist in the field of capital market law.
