Gigaset enters next phase of its transformation

Munich, November 30, 2015 - Due to a declining market outlook, during the next three years the Gigaset Group will entirely realign the business segment of cordless phones for private customers. In this context the company plans, inter alia, to gradually cut around 550 out of 1,250 jobs worldwide by the end of 2018.

At the end of this process the business segment of cordless phones for private customers shall be profitable again. The transformation scheme requires prior consent from workers' representatives. Negotiations on these matters will begin shortly.
