Check if a particular Gigaset handset is compatible with a Gigaset base station.
If your model is not available for selection, this does not exclude compatibility. All our devices support the GAP standard. GAP (Generic Access Profile) is a technology that allows cordless phones from different manufacturers to be combined with each other. Cordless handsets that support the GAP standard can be registered to any GAP-compatible base station. This guarantees at least the simplest functions such as registering the handset, answering the call, establishing a connection and ending the connection.
In general, it cannot be guaranteed that other services will work when combining different devices, except for these basic functions themselves.
Even if not all products/base stations are available in the selection menu, the following applies:
All our Gigaset handsets as well as the Gigaset L800HX Speaker support at least the GAP standard and can therefore be used with the basic functions on other GAP base stations/routers.
Select the combination of Gigaset base station or the router with DECT function and the desired handset to check compatibility.
