Activating/deactivating Message(MWI) key flashing

Precondition: The following procedure does only work, if the handset is registered to a Gigaset base station. It is not possible to activate/deactivate Message(MWI) key flashing, if the handset is registered to a Cat-IQ base station (e.g. Cat-IQ router)


You can only switch off the flashing of the message(MWI) key, if you are using the local CLIP list.

To activate the local CLIP list, please perform the following procedure:

In idle mode:

• Press the Menu key
• enter * # 2 5 4 7 1 #

Now you can switch off the flashing of the message key with the following procedure:
In idle state:

• Press the Menu key
• enter * # 4 5 6 2 5 0 #
