Declaration of accessibility
Gigaset Technologies GmbH is committed to ensuring digital accessibility to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to create an inclusive online experience by continually improving usability and adhering to recognized accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1, BITV and the EN 301 549 standard) which define how digital content should be designed to be perceivable, operable, and understandable. This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the Gigaset Technologies GmbH website published at https://www.gigaset.com.
Status of compatibility with the requirements
While many areas of our website meet accessibility standards, there are some aspects that currently do not yet fully follow the technical requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 and the Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung (BITV 2.0). The website was last tested on 26.06.2025.
Non-accessible content
The following contents are not compatible with the underlying harmonised standard EN 301 549:
- Low color contrast between text and background may make it difficult for users with visual impairments to read content.
- In certain expandable elements (e.g. search or selection fields), there may currently be limitations in conveying their expanded state. As a result, accessibility may be impaired.
The declaration was created using the Eye-Able® technology of Web Inclusion GmbH. More information about Web Inclusion GmbH can be found at https://eye-able.com/ Web Inclusion GmbH has gone through all machine-verifiable test steps. In addition, the IBM Equal Access Accessibility Checker was used.
Ongoing Effort
Although we are proud of the efforts that we have completed and that are in-progress, we view accessibility as an ongoing effort. We will continue to work to further enhance the accessibility of our websites and technical documentation such as manuals.
