Munich, July 1, 2016 - The Gigaset pro IP desktop phone Maxwell 3 has won the Plus X Design Award. Plus X hands out the award to brands that are able to transform complex technologies into functional design. Besides the Design Award, the Maxwell 3 also won the Best Product 2016/2017 award.
The Plus X Awards are acknowledgements for innovative technologies and sport and lifestyle products. They are handed out to companies with an innovative mindset by an international, independent panel. Award criteria include ergonomic and ecologic characteristics and the use of high quality materials, which results in sustainable products that will last for years. The awards were handed out for the thirteenth time this year.
Products could win points - or Seals of Approval – in several categories. The Maxwell 3 won the most seals in the category ‘Design’, and was therefore awarded with the title. The Maxwell 3 also received the most seals of all participating brands, and was therefore the most successful awarded product. That’s why the business telephone also received the award Best Product 2016/2017.
