Bocholt, December 28th, 2023: Gigaset is progressively launching new, corded landline phones with its new DESK series. These devices, with their premium design, cover the full spectrum of telephony - from the basic variant to the top model featuring an inverted black-and-white display, sophisticated surfaces, 5-way navigation, and an answering machine. The series started with the hearing aid-compatible DESK 400, followed by the basic model, the DESK 200. Now, with the new DESK 800A, Gigaset introduces the flagship of the DESK series, just in time for the Christmas season.
The DESK 800A, part of the new DESK series, combines elegant design with advanced functionality. Key features include an integrated answering machine with up to 50 minutes of recording time, a large, easily readable LC display with LED backlighting, simple navigation, a hands-free function with seven adjustable volume levels, and an RJ-9 headset connection for comfortable, prolonged phone conversations.
Notably, it has seven dual-function direct dial keys for quick access to important contacts, which can be noted on an accompanying paper insert. The phonebook of the DESK 800A can hold up to 200 entries, including a VIP function for priority contacts. The device is hearing aid compatible and offers LED call signaling with ten different ring tones.
Additionally, the DESK 800A supports various features such as network failure protection, answering machine announcements, and remote inquiry capability. It is suitable for use with telecommunications systems and offers easy operation through a 5-way navigation key.
The DESK 800A is suitable for both wall mounting and desk operation, making it a versatile solution for any office or home, combining aesthetics, user-friendliness, and technological innovation.
Successful Transition from DA to DESK Series
Gigaset has invested significant time and development effort into the new DESK series. The bar was set high, aiming to appropriately replace the popular and widely used DA series with contemporary models featuring modern design and new features.

Prices and Availability
The DESK 400 has been available since November 2022 for 29.90 Euros (RRP). The Desk 200 has been available since January 2023 for 24.90 Euros (RRP). The new DESK 800A is now available for 69.90 Euros (RRP) in retail stores, online, and in the Gigaset online shop.
