Munich, April 2, 2013 – Starting from April 1, 2013, value added resellers (VARs) of Gigaset pro devices can benefit from the advantages of a new Partner Program, with which Gigaset aims to support system houses and VARs in marketing telephone systems and end-user devices for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The new Partner Program from Gigaset pro was been tailored specifically to the needs and requirements of value added resellers and is intended to enable additional synergy effects between the vendor and sales partners. “Our partners are one of the key pillars in our efforts to deliver the best-possible solutions to our customers. That’s why we’ve developed the Partner Program for Gigaset pro, which contains a large number of tools and strategies all serving just one purpose: to support our partners in their everyday work with Gigaset pro products and solutions,” says Maik Brockmann, CSO and member of the Executive Board of Gigaset AG. “As a result, we satisfy the needs of our sales partners, who expect such a service from a manufacturer of premium products and top supplier.”
The structure of the Partner Program
Under the program, Gigaset awards its resellers in Germany the labels Gigaset pro “Authorized Partner”, “Silver Partner” and “Gold Partner.” Before that, they must be successfully authorized to procure the Gigaset consumer range. Qualification as an authorized partner is contingent on fulfilling a combination of quality criteria and clear sales targets. “Our expectations are definitely a challenge for partners. And that’s necessary, since without a high yardstick the labels would be worthless to our partners as a means of promotion,” says Hans-Jürgen Huber, Head of the Business Unit “Business Customers” at Gigaset. “However, the targets are certainly realistic and feasible for our partners.”
Individualized creation of customer leads for partners
Gigaset conducts preparatory activities in the SME market for IP-based telephones by means of end customer marketing measures and qualifies the prospective customers for Gigaset pro products and solutions from the huge pool of small and medium-sized enterprises. The resultant inquiries in the form of investment intentions are passed on to the suitable regional partner. This service is available to Silver and Gold Partners.
Concrete incentivization by means of sales successes
Gigaset provides additional devices free of charge as an incentive for successful marketing of Gigaset pro products. By selling Gigaset pro products and solutions, the partner receives bonus points, which are credited to its account in the partner portal. The bonus points can be redeemed in exchange for free deliveries from the Gigaset pro Bonus Webshop, which will be available as of the middle of the year. This service is likewise available to Silver and Gold Partners only.
Precisely tailored training helps master complex topics
Alongside the Web-based training it already provides, Gigaset is expanding the range to include personal training courses at various locations in Germany. A two-day basic seminar conveys topics relating to IP-based telephone systems and corded and cordless phones. Partners who market solutions can also book a three-day advanced seminar that deals with complex issues in greater depth. Gigaset also offers various specialization seminars, for example on cordless IP solutions, one of the areas of expertise of Gigaset pro. The training courses are obligatory for partners wishing to acquire Silver and Gold status, yet are also a great first-hand way of obtaining practical tools for success projects with the pro technologies. The courses are offered for a fee.
