All-in-one router Archer VR900v and Gigaset handsets for All-IP.
Hofheim am Taunus, 09/28/2015 – With immediate effect TP-LINK will operate in the German market with Gigaset. The two leaders support each other in marketing their devices: the Gigaset handsets for IP cordless telephony and the TP-LINK All-in-One VR series routers, Archer VR200v and VR900v. These optimally exploit the new functional possibilities of all-IP connections thanks to best possible technical compatibility. End users thus have a complete solution for All-IP and an alternative to the network operator products. With an IP-based connection, all data is transmitted via the internet (Internet Protocol, IP) and services such as telephony and television are provided over the Internet.
The Archer VR900v has it all for a fast home network.
The All-in-one router Archer VR900v combines it all: a vectoring enabled VDSL2 modem with a downstream rate of 100 Mbit/s, a DECT base for up to six cordless telephones, two telephone sockets for analog equipment as well as a gigabit router with AC1900 dual band Wi-Fi. The device supports the Wi-Fi standard IEEE802.11ac and sparks with up to 1900 Mbit/s. The data runs simultaneously on three antennas, with up to 1300 Mbit/s over the 5 GHz band and up to 600 Mbit/s over the 2.4 GHz channel. This means plenty of bandwidth for data-hungry applications such as Internet TV or multimedia. Four LAN ports, a USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port and two analog telephony interfaces provide for flexible deployment options.
