The Gigaset EASY 500A is also available as a version with an integrated answering machine and up to 30 minutes of recording time.

In an emergency, every second counts. Using the easy-to-reach SOS button, you can call up to four stored emergency or contact numbers at the press of a button. The Gigaset EASY 500 automatically dials them one after another in hands-free mode until a connection is established. This allows you to get help quickly, even in stressful situations or with limited mobility – without navigating menus or entering numbers.
An additional layer of protection is provided by the security call function. Authorized persons, such as family members, can connect to the phone after entering a PIN and confirmation, and speak directly via hands-free mode if needed.

Gigaset EASY 500A: No message gets lost
With the integrated answering machine, you remain reachable at all times – even when you are unable to answer a call. Incoming messages are recorded reliably and can be played back later at your convenience.
New messages are clearly indicated and can be accessed directly, both on the handset and the base station. Illuminated and dimmable keys allow for simple operation directly on the device – without navigating menus.

Cordless and radiation-free: environmentally conscious technology.
Cordless phones are practical – and Gigaset cordless phones are also designed with energy efficiency in mind. This is made possible by ECO DECT technology, which is also included in the Gigaset EASY 500 series.
In idle mode, the phones are radiation-free, provided all registered handsets support ECO DECT. During a call, transmission power automatically adjusts to the distance between the base and the handset. The shorter the distance, the lower the transmission power.
To achieve maximum DECT range, ECO DECT mode can be deactivated at any time if required.
