Home is where the heart is! This makes it all the more important that you feel safe in your own four walls. The weatherproof Gigaset outdoor camera provides reliable surveillance of your garden, entrance area or garage. Operating in combination with your Gigaset Smart Home alarm system or as a standalone solution, you can count on the weatherproof camera to alert you to every motion it detects. With real-time video, you can even use your smartphone to watch what is happening on your property whenever you like. The HD quality makes even minute details crystal clear and infra-red provides clear night vision for up to 15 metres.

Smart security: Internet connection via Wi-Fi or Ethernet

Keep an eye on your home even when you can’t be there: The Gigaset outdoor camera can connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi (WPA2 and TKIP) or a network cable (Ethernet LAN). If the camera detects movement on your property, it immediately records a 30-second video (depending on your chosen camera package) and the Gigaset elements app sends a push notification straight to your smartphone. With the real-time video, you can then check what is happening on your property and take immediate action if there is an emergency. If you are at work and a storm is approaching, simply use your mobile phone to check on your garden.

How to install security: Installation on the wall of your house

The Gigaset outdoor camera protects your home from all angles and does not take long to install and set up for use. First of all, decide where you would like to install the outdoor camera. Check whether there is a strong enough Wi-Fi signal in that spot or pick a LAN connection with a network cable. Then drill a hole in the wall and feed the cable through it into your house. Important: Always make sure there is a power source near the camera. Now affix the camera to the wall of your house from outside. All of the remaining configuration steps can be handled easily using the free Gigaset elements app.
